Officer Eric DeWit

Officer Eric DeWit was killed in an automobile accident while he and his partner were on patrol.  A vehicle had pulled in front of Officer DeWit causing him to take an evasive action.  Their patrol vehicle struck a fire hydrant causing fatal injuries to Officer DeWit.
